BN TV: Sisi Yemmie talks about the Challenges of Vlogging, the Fun Aspects & Convincing her Husband to get on Board

Sisi Yemmie vlogs about beauty, news, life as a mother, relationships and more. In this interview with Adeola of Battabox, she talks about what has made her one of the most successful and popular vlogger in Nigeria.

“Vlogging in Nigeria is actually fun because not a lot of people are doing it yet,” Sisi Yemmie explains to Adeola.

“It can be very challenging because of the technical issues, electricity…internet…sometimes after shooting a video, uploading is a problem,” she adds.

Sisi Yemmie also goes into detail about the process involved in creating great vlogging content.

“Some people feel, ‘You’re so jobless’ all you do is hold camera’ but they don’t know the editing, they don’t know the thought process of creating content, especially original content…there’s a strategy,” she clarifies.

“I make money from YouTube…sponsorship…people can advertise on your platform…endorsements,” she tells Adeola how she earns a living through vlogging.

“Did you have to convince your husband (about a career in vlogging)?” Adeola asks.

“When we started dating he asked what my career aspirations were…I wanted to be an actress but vlogging has brought a lot of good luck to us…he doesn’t need any more convincing,” she laughs.
