The Senate will on Thursday begin a confirmation hearing on Ibrahim Magu, the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

This was disclosed at plenary on Wednesday by the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, who presided over the session.

The Presidency had in July this year written the Senate, seeking the screening and confirmation of Magu as substantive chairman of EFCC.

Buhari appointed Magu as acting chairman of the EFCC after the removal of Ibrahim Lamorde on November 9, 2015.

Before his appointment as the acting EFCC chairman, Magu was the head of Economic Governance Unit of the commission.

If confirmed, Magu will be the fourth head of the anti-graft agency, after Nuhu Ribadu, Farida Waziri and Ibrahim Lamorde.

My fear is that na that part of brain dey conduct executive functioning, i.e., reasoning and relying on recall of past events to consider consequences of taking action. That part is the area that is damaged when people exhibit impulsivity. Usually, there is a problemas when there are too few neurons there. You may have excess, In short, boss, that bump cannot just be okpolor head.
