U.S. Vice President, Joe Biden on Thursday told Donald Trump to “grow up”.
Biden made this known in an interview with PBS NewsHour’s Judy Woodruff.
He was reacting to Trump’s attacks on the U.S. intelligence community and the Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare), which Trump had said he will repeal and replace.
“Grow up, Donald. Grow up,” Biden said. “Time to be an adult. You’re president. You’ve got to do something. Show us what you have.”
The vice president also said that Trump as president will have to propose legislation that Congress and the public can then assess. He said that it’ll be “much clearer what he’s for and against” once he’s in the position of governing.
Biden said it “dangerous” and “worrisome” that Trump has continued to question the U.S. intelligence community’s assessment that Russia interfered with the election in an effort to undermine Hillary Clinton, the Democratic presidential nominee.
