“President Buhari expected back Friday” – Femi Adesina



President Muhammadu Buhari will be back in Nigeria on Friday, a statement by his Special Adviser (Media and Publicity), Femi Adesina has said.

See the statement below:

President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to return to the country tomorrow, Friday March 10, 2017.

The President left the country on January 19, 2017 for a vacation, during which he had routine medical check-ups.

The holiday was extended based on doctors’ recommendation for further tests and rest.

President Buhari expresses appreciation to teeming Nigerians from across the country, and beyond, who had prayed fervently for him, and also sent their good wishes.

According to photos released via Buhari’s Twitter handle, the president met with Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury on Thursday afternoon.

      But Sir, you can stay a bit longer. Maybe an additional threes months to breathe in some unpolluted air and do a cell count without chemo? Don’t you want to make sure your cell count is up enough to withstand germy Nigeria? Stay there and get good health care. Seeking care in Nigeria no matter how rudimentary is a death sentence.

    He should ensure he gets well enough before coming back. It won’t be good if his condition worsens and he has to be flown out again.

    Coming back friday ke! With the way he looks so lean and fragile in this picture. Hmmmmm, uncle Bubu it’s best u prolong your stay, health is wealth. Besides not sure anyone really misses him again,or feels his absence. May Allah heal u totally…

    He can just resign and look after his health. He doesn’t look healthy at all.
    I think Osinbajo will be a good president. African leaders stop being selfish and full of greed. Always holding on to power when you do nothing substantial for your country.
