Ycee makes history as first African artiste to host radio show on BBC Radio 1 Xtra | See Photos

History was made on Sunday, as Tinny Entertainment foremost act Ycee, became the first African artist to host a radio show on the BBC Radio 1 Xtra. The rapper, who sat in for DJ Edu, anchored the Destination Africa show, where he exclusively premiered two singles – ‘Juice’ and ‘Bubbly’ – off his debut EP ‘The First Wave’. Ycee made his first appearance on Destination Africa with DJ Edu in January 2017, during his first ever UK tour. The show had listeners from all over the United Kingdom, including Ycee fans from Africa, who tuned in online. Ycee’s “The First Wave” EP is scheduled to be released on April 7th 2017.
