St Saviour’s School set to host Lagos Kids Mini-Marathon themed “Active Kids Rock” | Saturday, Nov. 18th

For the first time in Nigeria, St Saviour’s School Ikoyi Endowment Fund will host the Lagos Kids Mini-Marathon. The inter-school competition themed “Active Kids Rock” was created to inspire kids to run for a charity and most importantly, make being physically active a lifestyle developed from an early age.

Date: Saturday, November 18th, 2017.
Start Point: St Saviour’s School Ikoyi, Lagos.
Time: 7 am – 11 am.

Although the event is kids focused, the mini-marathon is a family fun day outing with exciting post mini-marathon activities planned for kids and parents. This event is supported by supported by MTN ,Lagos State Sports Commission, Access Bank and AXA Mansard (the official event insurers).

Part of the proceeds from the event will be used to support the “Slum to School” charity, a volunteer driven social development organization operating in Africa whose vision is to transform the society by empowering disadvantaged children in slums to realize their full potential through the provision of educational scholarships, health support and other psycho-social support.
