Osun Election: Buhari orders IG of Police not to invite Adeleke - Reports | BellaNaija

Punch has reported that President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered the police not to invite Senator Ademola Adeleke before the Osun State election.

Buhari reportedly gave the order to the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris.

The police had in a statement declared Adeleke, who is running for Osun State Governor under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) wanted.

The senator was invited on charges of examination malpractice, criminal conspiracy, impersonation.

Punch has however reported that “a presidential source” who requested not to be named has said the president ordered the IG not to invite Adeleke before the election on Saturday, September 22.

Who is Buhari deceiving? I guess he is deceiving Nigerian people, or should I say Osun State people. You are giving an order that the Inspector General of Police should not invite the guy, after the plan has been hatched and executed, the world has read it one way or the other and Osun State people already know that their gubernatorial candidate has a running with the law. WHAT A TRUMP, HILARY CLINTON, AND FBI INVESTIGATION announcement that wrecked USA election in 2016, that got this disgrace TRUMP in office, and we are suffering it.. OSUN State people, I don’t know much about you all over there. please don’t let this trick work. Vote for the candidate that you all believe in. D

Thank you Mr President for your intervention in this matter. Nigeria Police would have just set the entire political landscape ( OSUN State ) on fire. your timely intervention saved the day. Please, Mr. President send this very important and urgent message to the leaders in our Police force to never, never immerse themselves into any political matters period.. A word is enough for the wise. I’m just saying.
