It’s that time of the year again when Silverbird sets out to find that lucky young lady who will be crowned the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria for 2009.

And this time Silverbird is taking the search to several cities in Nigeria as well as London, Los Angeles and Accra.

Do you think you have what it takes or know someone who does? Well here’s how you or your candidate can enter the MBGN 2009 Pageant and represent Nigeria on the world stage.

You will need to be between the ages of 18 and 25 and at least 5 feet 7 inches tall.

You must be a Nigerian Citizen i.e. born in Nigeria, born to (a) Nigerian parent (s) or a naturalized citizen of Nigeria.

You must also have attained at least a secondary school certificate/ high school diploma and never been married.

While it is not required until after the winners have been selected you should have ready a valid passport.

The winner of MBGN 2009 gets to drive away with a brand new Hyundai car and N3 million. MBGN 2009 also represents Nigeria at Miss World 2009, a number of international events and so much more.

As you may know the MGBN pageant is about providing opportunities and a platform for young ladies and while the winner of MBGN 2009 gets the crown, she doesn’t keep the spotlight to herself. She graciously shares it with the 4 runners-up.

The 1st Runner Up for MBGN 2009 goes home with N1 million and represents Nigeria at the prestigious Miss Universe Pageant 2009

The 2nd Runner-Up goes home with N500,000.

While the 3rd and 4th runners-up go home with N250,000 each.
