On Saturday 11th February 2012, BN was on the scene as Jennifer Okoye and Yemi Adebonojo celebrated their traditional wedding.
The festive event took place at Green Park in Victoria Island, Lagos.
Red and silver were the colours of the day and of course, we have all the photos of the guests in their fabulous aso-ebi.
Highlights of the day included the wine carrying ceremony and an exciting performance by rap superstar Naeto C.

Congrats Jennifer and Yemi! Lots of ove from BN.

I think the big stuff trending now is;inter-tribal marriages, especially the Ibos and Yorubas. That’s all good. Follow your heart and it will lead you to your miracle!!! HML

Thank you o, BN! And excuse me for trying to get advice on a wedding post lol.
This wedding gives me hope that I will marry the love of my life soon. He’s Yoruba and I’m Ibo, and my parents aren’t hearing none of that (no other problem with him, just that he’s not Ibo). Any advice, people? Cos this guy makes my world way brighter, can’t imagine my future without him…:)

      • DiSweet February 14, 2012 at 5:37 PM

As long as he is a Christian and You are sure, He is the one for you – Go right ahead and your parents will come around. Hand over the situation to God! Best Wishes!!

    • miss p February 13, 2012 at 9:24 PM

Chika get ur pastor or someone u know they hold high to speak with them trust me that will work and pray too :)

      • Ibinike February 14, 2012 at 7:55 AM

@Chika, prayer works wonders u konw. At the end of it all it is your happiness that matters and not your parents. Let them know why you wanna be with this guy and make sure he is the right one so they dont go,” We told you so” later! Good luck http://ibinike.blogspot.com
