To celebrate the release of her new single “How We Do (Party)” and her debut album, Rita Ora headlined two exclusive shows in the UK – Manchester Sound Control on 29th August and London’s Scala on 30th August. And, guess who took the stage at Scala, London? None of than the Koko Master, D’Banj.

It seems D’Banj and the Roc Nation ensign, “the new Rihanna“, Rita Ora have an on-going “friendship?”/”work relationship?” because I can remember seeing them snuggly back stage at the BB1Xtra Hackney weekend show back in June.

It’s not that serious to call someone that. It’s true, D’banj needs to come out with new stuff, oliver twist is getting old. Isn’t that how an artist should be, growth is part of your work. And, D’banj isn’t as popular among Africans the way he used to. I guess, londoners are his new fans.
