BN Bytes: D’Banj Throws Down an Energetic Performance at Rita Ora’s Show at Scala, London

To celebrate the release of her new single “How We Do (Party)” and her debut album, Rita Ora headlined two exclusive shows in the UK – Manchester Sound Control on 29th August and London’s Scala on 30th August. And, guess who took the stage at Scala, London? None of than the Koko Master, D’Banj.

Rita Ora, obviously excited with D’Banj‘s tweeted – ‘Dbanj is killing it!!!!! Guys I’m coming I can’t wait to see all your faces!!!!! #ORA

Check on it.

It seems D’Banj and the Roc Nation ensign, “the new Rihanna, Rita Ora have an on-going “friendship?”/”work relationship?” because I can remember seeing them snuggly back stage at the BB1Xtra Hackney weekend show back in June.

  • Anon August 31, 2012 at 10:12 pm

    @ Ben

It’s not that serious to call someone that. It’s true, D’banj needs to come out with new stuff, oliver twist is getting old. Isn’t that how an artist should be, growth is part of your work. And, D’banj isn’t as popular among Africans the way he used to. I guess, londoners are his new fans.

@Bob,ur a big clown!Lmaoooo@ur comments.God wld bless u.Pls don’t relent in telling them that they wld soon start having hpertension ‘cos D’banj is not looking back.He gets higher by the day, more popular by the sec, bigger by the day and more importantly God’s blessings on him increase by the smallest fraction of a second so my dear D’banj,UP u shall remain.U’re clearly one hell of a GREAT individual.Despite such heavy negative criticisms lashed out on u D’banj since day 1 of ur split wiv Don Jazzy (tho’ ur lovers have stood by u thruout),i must undoubtedly state emphatically that ur clearly a definition of SUCCESS (D’banj i mean).Ur still on top of ur game D’banj and ur in the news evry other day.Ride on brother D’banj and may God continue to make u bigger as no single EVIL weapon fashioned against u shall prosper!(Amen)…
