Mother Reports Alleged Murder of her 20 Year-Old Son by Roommates at Abia State University on Facebook

A bereaved mother, Ngozi Awa has reported on her Facebook page that her son, Obinna Okereke Awa, a 20-year old student of Abia State University is dead. Punch reports that he was allegedly murdered a few weeks ago and according to his mother’s Facebook message, his roommates killed and buried him.
The post read:
“I have just been informed that my second son, Obinna Awa is dead. He was lured and killed, and buried exactly two weeks today by his roommates (names withheld), flanking him here. (In a photograph posted on the social network site).
“All (the suspect) are fourth year law students of Abia State University. They feigned ignorance of his whereabouts. My son was to be 21 years old come May 7, 2013.”
She also wrote this poem on her Facebook page
Even in my pains
Even in my shock
Even in my sorrow
I still say: Thank you, Lord!
God! How I cried and tore myself up
How I searched and searched
How I paryed and prayed
How I hoped and hoped
chest heaving, tears dripping…
Now, after denial of knowledge of where my son was
After scampering away from school for two weeks
Obinna’s blood has started chasing them out to confess of how they took him out.
Obinna Awa of all people!
Obinna my strong son!
Obinna aaa!
It is well.
I am coping Obinna.
Daddy is devastated.
You should have seen the visitors to the house today
Heard the incessant phone calls, some we answered, others we could not lift our hands or voices to respond to.
Chai!
How can students plan to eliminate another’s life?
For what?
Did you insult any of them?
Did you wink at their girlfriends?
Did you, Obinna, boast to them?
God, console my poor son!
God, touch our hearts.
What a touching tribute. We pray God consoles her and that his soul Rests in Peace.

My heart bleeds so badly for the family! and for the mother. No mother should go through such ordeal. As a mother, I can not find words to coax your pain ..but, May God the Almighty give you the strength to carry on. Death is inevitable we will all go through it, even death itself will die one day… But, no one wishes for this type of terrible death. OBINNA may your soul rest in peace and May God welcome you in his eternal kingdom. God bless you.
D pepetrators of such cruel act must b brought 2 book by d law enforcement agencies,God give d mother n family n other relations with frds d fortitude 2 bear d loss n what is nig tertiary institution turnin into its surpose 2 b a place of study but intead d revers is d case,it has now become where they practice cultism,murder n all kinds of evil maginations,I pray that God in his universial power will arrest all d evil influence in our higher institution n impAct in them a thought of Godliness,nig gov should try n protect d innocent student fr d evil personified once by setting a body that will fight against cultism n cruel perfomances
