Spoken word artist Qabaniso ‘Q’ Malewizi is featured on the most recent edition of CNN’s African Voices. He talked about his musical career in the UK and his move back to Malawi to support his father. His brief stint in Malawi affected him when he returned to the UK and felt he had to come back home. He describes it as it as a burning out feeling; so with the return home, he felt a need to make a change in his creative direction. This led him to the word of poetry.
