New Music: Emphirical – Jealous Me

The Nigerian/Gambian duo known as Emphirical were introduced to the African music community when they released two singles in 2009 – “Bread n Butter” featuring Mo’Cheddah & “Ejekajo”.
The duo have spent the last few months in the studio finalizing their debut album which is due out in December 2010.

Their new track “Jealous Me” is said to be a smooth blend of pidgin english, wollof and highlife. The song was produced by DJ Klem. The song was performed for the President Of Gambia in July and also at a 15,000 + capacity crowd event sponsored by one of Gambia’s telecoms giant and the reception was awesome.
Emphirical hopes to become a household name in Africa, with Western Africa being their first target.

Plans are underway for their first set of videos.
