The second edition of the premium exhibition highlighting the very best of the Nigerian Wedding industry – Sugar Wedding Fair took place on Sunday 18th March 2012 at Harbour Point, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Proving that the exquisite exhibition gets bigger every year, the organizers made sure this event was one to remember. The show which kicked off at exactly 11 AM, was officially declared open by Representative of the First Lady of Lagos State – Mrs Otusanya and was hosted by On-Air sensation – Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi.

The well attended event saw lots of vendors showcase all the very best of the Nigerian wedding industry. More Details on the Sugar Wedding Fair VIP Reception
Only 100 guests were exclusively invited to the VIP Reception and they were hosted by the very best wedding vendors in the industry to a fairy tale wedding reception; Newton and David provided the decor, Roberts Cakes and Pastries & more served up the wedding cake and Licious Deserts made sure they satisfied guests taste buds with their yummy black forest gateau’s, cheese cakes and ice creams. Foss Marai – makers of the finest Italian Prosseco provided the drinks and Spronks Boisson Palais provided the bar service and other drinks. Photography by Abi took all the official photographs and a sumptuous 3 course meal was served up by Culinary Woks.

Like every wedding there must be a bride and groom and Mr & Mrs Sugar were the couple that were celebrated. Bolaji Sax thrilled the audience with his rendition of popular tunes on his saxophone and DJ Deluxe made sure all the guest boogied till the very end of the reception, proving that weddings could also been loads of fun for all guests.

Winners of the honeymoon trip to Istanbul
A constant reader of – Toluwalope Olawunmi-Akinsheye and her fiancee Kunle Oluwafemi Ajeigbe  were at the Sugar Wedding Fair and as promised by the organizers of a honeymoon trip, she and soon to be hubby won a trip to Istanbul and also several other gifts.

    hi, it would be helpful if you put the name of the vendor attached to each photograph. i really like the stationery but now i have no idea who made them amongst other things. please help uss with this information. i know you have a list of all the vendors but its not specific… thank you

    l love the chocolate fountain, d I.V, d table settings, d gal wt trad on veil, d wedding dresses, infact l love all. lt was really colourful
