Damilola is sad to be saying goodbye to the show and would deeply miss everyone. The last four years spent on the show has been a very beautiful and fulfilling experience for her; Damilola over the course of four years has built not only a good work relationship, but great friendship and regards the entire cast and crew as family.

She is however very excited about the next phase of her career, as she is currently on a movie set with AMAA award winning film maker, Michelle Bello, where Damilola will be playing a lead role in the upcoming movie.

It will be recalled that in 2010, Damilola starred alongside her Tinsel co-star, Ghanaian actor, Chris Attoh in Shirley Frimpong-Manso movie’s, Six Hours to Christmas and in 2011, she won a Best Actress in a TV Series at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards, for her role as Telema Duke.

A Source close to the actress said “Damilola Adegbite is very happy and grateful for the opportunity Tinsel has given her and looks forward to the next phase of her life and career.”

Her rep, Cartwheel & Pandora PR, further said she also uses this opportunity to say a big thank you to her fans for the love and support throughout her time on Tinsel and hopes to continue to have their support as she steps into the next phase.

Didn’t particularly like her character in Tinsel. I wonder if it was her portrayal of the character that spoilt it for me. Usually seemed forced. Anyway, Good luck in your new ventures Damilola…

Me and you both. I can’t help but think that based on her acting in Tinsel, I won’t be in a mad rush to see another film she ‘stars’ in. She cleans up pretty nice though, apart from her ‘notice me’ walk. Hope she gets better and goes from a starlet to a full-fledged star, hehehehe.

Its so unfair! Going for a while to shoot some movie shouldn’t take her away from Tinsel Totally. Afterall she returned to Tinsel after 6 hours to Christmas With Afripong. So why can’t she do same after Bello’s Movie. She wiil be missed.

Who cares, so you don’t care, why the need to respond? People need to keep quiet if and when they have absolutely nothing constructive to say. Dami, all the best in your future endeavours and please toughen up because the haters are about to come out to play. They will hate on you just because you dare to dream and live your dream.

My own is that its high time tinsel came to an end. The story is becoming messed up abeg! The original substance it had has been watered down…I support they need to take a break and restrategise.

Damilola looks like Joseline Hernandez of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta, except she is more feminine looking but hecka gorgeous though. Very pretty, I wish she will get more in movies. She can easily cross over to Hollywood.

“Wei hu toffee a yedi, wrapper ewor hu da”? – I will never forget that statement she made in 6 days to Christmas – that was so funny. I was shocked she could speak the language

from one sister to another i wish you the best of luck in your future en devours Dami. I really like you. Wu hu ye fer paaa
