Four phrases for this campaign. Tacky and trying too hard, didn’t deliver any message, too rowdy and no cohesion. Saka’s advert was sheer genius. MTN leads the way AGAIN. Nope I do not work for MTN, I dont even live in Nigeria but from a Senior Advertising exec’s (with major multi million dollar accounts) point of view, naaaaaah. This was OTT and delivery zero. An ad should make the customer so drawn in or suddenly want to jump to buy the product. For a couple of seconds the customer should forget that the services or the product may be crappy. If you can’t achieve that by the first 30secs, the ad has failed. This wouldn’t even have passed first draft at my firm. It felt like watching a music video. If you are in the know about advertising firms, the letter W and ending in N will tell u everything.

@AdSense you couldn’t have said it any better. creativity zero….but production quality was good…but then again that wasn’t the ad aim now, or was it?

Rubbish and tacky.Whoever was the creative director of this project,FAILED completely.
So noisy, no message and direction. …And where is the effect of DISSONANCE here?
In Consumer behavior, you create an ad that can create a cognitive dissonance in the minds of consumers which will hitherto make them to embrace your product.
Now tell me, what is the message of this ad? Where is the creativity? What competitive advantage did GLO depict on this ad apart from throwing money around by bunch of artists to sell their products?
Not beefing GLO but this ad scores 2/10 …..No creativity , no intelligence, and no thinking outside the box.

Damn! This is simply Amazing! The idea of it being a music video was def intentional because its memorable and easy to sing along to! And u can watch it on music stations and im sure we can dance to it in clubs so for the person that commented above its not in lone with sakas commercial, this is supposed to appeal to the mass youth who can identify with these artists! Simple marketing strategy dear! Lynx i loved ur presence on this! U have that x factor to stand out! Wajes voice is so powerful, Love her!

You were obviously part of the production team for this hot mess, so you can’t see it. EPIC FAIL.

I was really expecting something from Flavour, that was the only reason I watched till the end. But either way, Waje has an amazing voice…wow!

Lol. I actually liked the video… it was fun. Though it didn’t present any important message like an ad should do, but its not stuff that their target audiences don’t already know and do think it captures the essence of the market’s lifestyle.

only one word to describe this “movie clip” CHAOS…bunch of artistes brought together to constitute a nuisance….its not the number of artistes that you have in your video that will pass the message…there are a lot of concepts that can be used…Glo’s colour is green..it was mentioned greener pastures…why not do a simple advert “moving on to greener pastures” this is total CHAOS and the director who advert company shd be suspended fro APCON or wateva their body is…absolute disaster..

    June 7, 2013 at 6:31 pm

It wasn’t an advert. It was a chance for all the ambassadors to just have fun. Sheesh

it’s not that bad, but it’s definitely tacky. burna boy is swag personified. i hope he goes far, his voice is very unique. flavour would’ve killed this video, they should’ve let him sing more instead of lynxxx. but waje is definitely the star of this commercial.

To Adsense and the others, please add some sense.
This was a musical video. There are shorter excerpts of this if you are not aware that gives the advert feel. No one produces a 3minute advert. Come on, you critics should know with your acclaimed multimillion accounts. Hisss.

Well done Glo. For what it was intended to do, a musical video with youthful appeal, a glo message that can become a sing along, you did that.
Hope people port just for good measure . Lol!
