New Music: D’banj, Omawumi, Femi Kuti, Fally Ipupa + 15 African Artistes – “Cocoa Na Chocolate”

Today Monday 31st March 2014, launched one of Africa’s biggest music collaboration titled “Cocoa Na Chocolate” produced by Cobhams Asuquo.

The track is in support of a new campaign to boost investments in agriculture – “Do Agric, It Pays.”

18 of Africa’s top recording artistes join ONE ambassador D’banj on the song. They include Omawumi, Femi Kuti, Kunle Ayo and Dontom from Nigeria as well as Bufallo Souljah (Zimbabwe), Dama Do Bling (Mozambique), Diamond (Tanzania), Fally Ipupa (DRC), Judith Sephuma (South Africa), Juliani (Kenya), Vusi Nova (South Africa), Liz Ogumbo (Kenya), Nancy G (Swaziland), Rachid Taha (Algeria), Tiken Jah Fakoly (Cote d’Ivoire), Victoria Kimani (Kenya) and Wax Dey (Cameroon).

    When you think that they’re trying to get people excited about agriculture as an important part of Africa’s growth, then the song doesn’t seem so bad. It’s definitely catchy, it’s gonna be stuck in my head for a bit. Not bad!
