Okay….before you guys kill this woman for trying to be like Toke(who I don’t watch)….How familiar are you all with the way most down to earth Yoruba chicks do ‘gbeborun’? We tend to go into character, roll our eyes, clap and act razz. I don’t see a difference between the way she talks and the way most of my friends, sisters and I talk when we are having a bit of fun….
I think its something we pick up as kids mimicking Yoruba actresses or something like that….but whatever sha. If busting her balls makes you guys feel better, who am I to get in the way of your happiness? lol.

Thank you Caniforniabawler, I don’t see how she’s imitating Tokstarr when many yoruba girls talk this way when gisting. I don’t think this gisting mode is exclusive to Toke biko. Switching to the razz-eye-popping accent to emphasise a point makes it less likely that the listener will take offence. In all, it makes the gist ‘sweeter’.

You guys are here again. Still hating. Those saying she sounds like Toke, you are the same set of people that still insults Toke when she puts up her videos and you’re here sounding like you are Toke’s advocates. Abeg make una shift.
