Incredibly sad news.
According to BBC Africa, approximately 3.3 million Nigerians have been displaced as a result of the Boko Haram insurgency.

I am not certain, but I believe they are based on numbers released by INEC. INEC is making special arrangements for IDPs, so you should be able to rest easy in the knowledge that unlike our politicians the BBC doesn’t invent news.
