Everybody was flashing red card and Ambode was flashing white card. I have always maintained that Ambode is not a good choice for a state like Lagos. You hardly hears his voice. APC is trying to railroad him into power but we know better.

It becomes funnier when you realise he turned the red card towards himself, Brain cramps happen to the best of us. I think he’ll do well in power though. A. I’m giving APC a chance(first time voter), B. His record in public service and C. His project THESE seems IMO to be more coherent than Agbaje’s demolish everything mantra(Jimi has some good ideas, but I trust Ambode to actualize his ideas).
I don’t want to punish him because he isn’t a great public speaker, the best politicians often aren’t. Finally I absolutely love that Ambode direct jingle.

    Fashola, I’m truly dissapointed.
I’m not supporting PDP or APC. Such useless individuals. Rather than focusing on important issues, they keep attacking and blaming each other like losers. Agbayas. You guys please grow up! Even the youths aren’t this juvenile.

Why are you disappointed? Have you forgotten that he is a politician? The fact that he actually worked (which is his/their job), makes people to forget that he is first a politician before a governor. All along, Tinubu had been handling the political part for him so he could face his work and act, even if it was for his interest. Afterall, Tinubu is a politician (before these PDP loyalists come for my head). Now he is leaving, he can show his political side and do anyhow cause no matter what, you can’t deny that Lagos hasn’t worn a different look in the past 8 years.

Did you actually read and understand my comment? If you did, you wouldn’t have typed this blunder you just posted. I have every right to be disappointed. That you’re a politician doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have dignity, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be mindful, it doesn’t give you the right to be astonishingly immature, or disgrace yourself in the name of campaigning. I’m sorry but what you’ve said is incomprehensible and doesn’t correlate with what I posted. Just so you know, I like Fashola, hence my disappointment.

Nigerian youths are inactive, what stops them from standing up for what they believe, if they are not in support for both parties, if they truly seeks for a Change, if they truly need a new government, they can match up and give both APC and PDP a RED CARD too, what about other parties??? Nigerian youths are the most inactive youths I’ve ever seen, they believe only in media gossips and attacking one another, Tufiakwa!!!!!

A former spokesman for four United States Ambassadors to the United Nations, Richard Grenell, has said that if former military Head of State, General Muhammadu Buhari, emerges as the next president of Nigeria in next Saturday’s elections, it would be a disaster for the entire African continent.

Grenell, who made the declaration in a piece titled: Nigeria on the brink, and which was published in the Washington Times, a US based publication, of Thursday, March 19, 2015, described Buhari as working tirelessly to enthrone Sharia law across the country, which he said would further pose a major challenge to the fight against terrorism in Nigeria and the continent at large.

He said, “Western foreign policy observers pre-occupied with the rise of ISIS in the Middle East should wake up to the reality unfolding in Nigeria. Opposition candidate General Buhari wants Sharia law throughout Nigeria. In fact, he wants it everywhere.

“Is this an indication that Buhari supports violence because the end goal of the terrorist attacks throughout Nigeria and Africa is an Islamic state? It is a legitimate question that should be asked by leaders of the Obama administration.

“Boko Haram has pledged its allegiance and support to ISIS. The Northern Nigerian based Islamic terrorist group wants Sharia law throughout the country and beyond. They are also actively terrorising Chad, Niger and Cameroon with their goal of an Islamic state.

“Buhari has also spoken sympathetically about members of the terrorist group Boko Haram, has cautioned against a rush to judgement on its members and has personally been selected by the terrorist group to lead its negotiations with the Government of Nigeria.

“Buhari’s election as Nigeria’s head of state would be a disaster for Africa. It would also signal trouble for the West’s fight against ISIS and terrorism throughout the Middle East.”

According to Grenell, incumbent president and Buhari’s main rival at next Saturday’s election, Goodluck Jonathan has made commendable inroads in strangling Boko Haram to submission in recent weeks and so deserves the support of the Barack Obama led United States administration and the rest of the world.

“The Nigerian economy has been growing faster than South Africa’s. Imagine what Nigeria could do for Africa if it was also free of Boko Haram’s violence. The Obama Administration should be doing more to ensure Africa’s most populous country doesn’t slip away,” he said.

Speaking further, Grenell said that with the election in Israel over, the West must quickly turn its attention to Nigeria where the outcome of next Saturday’s presidential elections could have a profound impact on the future of Africa.

“Islamic radicals have Africa on their target list and young Nigerians are reported to be interested in ISIS’ messages. Nigeria is at a tipping point. The West, and specifically the Obama Administration, needs to wake up to the growing problem,” he said.

In October 2014 during an interview with TheCable, an online news platform, Buhari had said that he was not a religious fundamentalist or extremist as his opponents had alleged and that all those trying to hang such malicious tag on him were merely attempting to demonise and tarnish his image.

“Nigerians will always uncover impossible room for manoeuvre for politicians. In 2003, I chose Chuba Okadigbo as my running mate. He was a Roman Catholic. He was an Igbo. In 2007, I picked Edwin Ume-Ezeoke. He was a Roman Catholic. He was an Igbo. And in 2010, I chose even a pastor, Pastor Tunde Bakare.

“Honestly, what do Nigerians want me to do? If they don’t believe I’m not a fundamentalist, what else can I do? The era of short-changing people in the name of religion should stop,” he had said.

“A former spokesman for four United States Ambassadors to the United Nations”
Why should we care what a former spokesman to an Ambassador thinks??? He should gain a higher office first, then I might reconsider.

Obama administration? What do we care for Obama administration? So they’ll come and rig the election to ensure Goodluck wins. Or canel the outcome if he doesn’t. To hell with USA. I think it’s time the busybody west minded their business and dealt with the problems in their own countries and allow the rest of the world to do same.

  11. Buhari Black Maria Police Van in London

    March 22, 2015 at 8:07 am

Thought it might be just propaganda when they said Buhari and Amaechi were taken away in a police van in the UK. But I have actually watched the video (uploaded on youtube) and it is actually true. They were actually taken away.
I have placed a link to the the video here below for you to see.
Amaechi is seen at the far right of the video. He almost escapes being covered.
Any one with more info on this (for eg why the UK police {“took”} them) should please share.

Still waiting to hear how APC plans to implement this change they keep screaming about!!!!

How do u plan to provide jobs, good electricity, water, health, education.

Are we going to have a presidential debate soon.

My blind citizens, supporting various parties with no genuine reasons.

Still waiting to hear: I support Buhari because he plans to improve the health system by …………..
I support GEJ because he plan to improve electricity by……………..

Why do you support PDP, APC or others?

  15. Abrahim

    March 22, 2015 at 10:31 am

I am indeed very worried! I may not be a fan of GEJ but will not enthrone a man who delights in shedding blood.

Scared of enthroning a man with blood of the innocents in his hands and flesh of Nigerians in his mouth. Scared of God judgement. Will you shout Sai Baba if your siblings was one of them?

    God hates this,Allah hate this

    • EllesarisEllendil

      March 22, 2015 at 8:03 pm

God forbid!!!!! my siblings be drug-pushers or armed robbers. Google pictures of heroin addicts, see what has happened in Mexico and Colombia where drug barons are allowed to reign with impunity. BTW the man that “delights” in shedding blood has shed then in defense of Nigeria. Unless you think parts of Nigeria should be under Chadian rule?

Do APC think we are fools? Buhari who says nigeria will be ungovernable for Goodluck and it happens so, then want to rule, is not possible. He stoped Alhaji Shehu Shagari from his civilian rule and now want to be a civilian president, no it can’t work cus he didn’t like civilian rule, so he should go and sleep. Only God will help us.
