Do You Remember This #ThrowbackTrack? Listen to Veno Marioghae – Nigeria Go Survive

Veno Marioghae - BellaNaija - May - 2015

My people will survive!

With the curtain on the nationwide fuel scarcity slowly falling and a new president being sworn in tomorrow, Nigerians can only hope for better days to come. And this throwback track by Veno Marioghae titled “Nigeria Go Survive” fit right in.

Released in 1984, under the Tabansi Records‘ label, Nigeria Go Survive is a track about the problems of our great nation while also highlighting the potentials. Sadly this track is still relevant till date. However, the Delta State indigene Veno Marioghae, strongly believed that Nigeria will still survive through the harsh and uncertain times.

As this song was a beacon of hope for many Nigerians in the 80s and 90s, let it serve as an anthem of hope as you listen.

Woooohooo! See Jam! Made my morning listening to this. I am at work unable to watch the inauguration live from the comfort of my home. Instead I am live streaming from my computer. Listening to this song brought back nostalgic memories. Thank you BN!
