I do not usually comment on music videos featured on BN. But the makeup and hair on these chicks made them look like village champion or mgbeke miss road.

Did they all visit the dentist, all I saw was teeth.

No spanx. Embrace your body, but when you wear tight jeans and your stomach is begging for air, there is a problem.

SIMPLICITY IS COMPLICATION DONE WELL. If Beyoncé were to do this video, the hair would look natural,….not like a pack of dead squirrels.

They’re not Beyoncé. and even before Beyoncé became the big Beyoncé we know her by, her old music videos still showed her flaws. Keep quiet and just appreciate a quality music video. Let’s see what u can do negative Nancy!

No fuel oh. Kai. Chei. Wetin man go do. Very frustrated. But the good thing is, their teeth illuminated my room for a couple of minutes. Always a good in every bad, no?

And I am not hating. They have potential. The song was VERY GOOD. Video quality on deck. Presentation of participants, well not refined.

I know white eyeliners are en vogue, but my word!!!

Beautiful women, poor dressing. I blame the stylist and makeup artist.

You are still a hater. Funny you live in denial claiming to champion black woman yet point out everything you think is wrong with their body in a failed attempt to body shame them. You must be delusional to think you for one second had anything nice or positive to say. I suggest you stay in your leash at your quarter hatesville, keep sipping that bitter sour hateraid and keep your highly unsolicited career advise to yourself. If they make it to the top or not…it has nothing to do with you and it is none of your business. You are not an investor in their movement so shut the Flip UP. You have already Bowed Down… Now #StayDown. Your misery has no company.

I agree! @crossmyheart! I thought I was the only one that thought the hair and makeup looked cheap. These girls are very beautiful and sometimes less is more. Its a really good song though

You sound pained…why come on here and talk out of your anus?! Shiikane look beautiful and did a fantastic job on this video. I don’t know why some women only know how to talk negatively about our females stars. It’s embarrassing

    • icrossmyheart

      May 28, 2015 at 8:27 pm

My anus still has its natural hair sha ……….I cannot say much for these ladies.

Negativity? Because I talked about their bought hair, paid for teeth, and forgotten spanx, I am a hater? Ok oh. Why put up your music video if you are not ready to be critiqued., albeit harshly.

I love women. I LOVE BLACK WOMEN. And I support BLACK WOMEN. But give them a year, you will not hear from them if they do not step up. Music industry is a packaging industry it is an image industry.

Not against body shaming, but YOU SHOULD NOT WEAR TIGHT JEANS if your zip is threatening to open. Adele is a plus size woman but she is GRACEFUL. So we are more likely to listen to her music than to be distracted by her OWN hair, teeth (her teeth are very very brown, but we do not know that because we are focused on her music), and VERY WHITE SKIN.

But oh no!!!! Advise black women, though harshly, they call it hate. Let me keep hating abeg.

      May 28, 2015 at 7:12 pm

You are a hater. Embrace it. Those girls are beautiful and body confident….spanx or no spanx.

    • icrossmyheart

      May 28, 2015 at 8:19 pm

BOW DOWN TO WHITE. eyeliner mistaken for eye yolk? Or misshapen hair shape…no hairline? Or flooded strokes of Indian strands forcing Cleopatra from her grave? Or White teeth glaringly blinding the light that is supposed to illuminate their skin?

I am not abusing them. But if they want to reach the TOP TOP TOP….they should step up their game. Their video quality GREAT. Song? grew on me. Beauty? Smoking. But presentation? A COMPLETE FAIL. They probably spent a lot on videographer and not enough on stylists and makeup artist and choreographer. Dance steps are a Beyoncé-inspired performance learned in the dark. You want to reach the top musically, STEP IT UP. Look at P-square. I used Beyoncé as an example, but I should not have in fairness to Beyoncé. Even young Beyoncé at 12 knew what was up. But hell, look at our Nigerian Yemi with her hit song, Johnny. Smokingly GOOD.

So miss me on that hater comment.

WOWWWWWW!!! So impressed and excited for the shiikane girls,
this video is their best to date! Although I loved the sugarcane video too 
The dancing, the hair & makeup and styling all gelled well to create a beautiful video.
They are raising the standard every time with each video, wonderfully done 10/10

I must say I am actually blown away by the video and song. When they first released this song I didn’t really give it my full attention but now they have my attention and i am very impressed!
They look beautiful and poised, just enough sex appeal to not be over the top. The song really shows they can sing. Rooting for this group. They better get nominated for this video it’s one if the best from a Nigerian artist this [email protected]
