69 Killed in Onitsha as Petrol Tanker Involved in Accident Catches Fire

Tragedy arose in Onitsha on Sunday, as a petrol tanker rammed into a building and caught fire, resulting in the deaths of 69 people and the burning of 15 vehicles.

The accident occurred at the Upper Iweka area of the city at Asaba Motor Park, Guardian reports.

Governor Willie Obiano is said to have rushed to the scene of the accident immediately he heard the sad news. He subsequently comforted relatives of the victims and promised to assist the injured.

    If i am to be in power one of the things i will ban like ban is heavy duty vehicles expecially fuel tankers moving the day. This is really bad.

    It was realy a tragedy, no wonder bible says that in the midst of life we in dead, but i pray, Lord if you will please stop this kind of sudden and untimely death in Jesus name Amen.
