Ever since the burial rites of late Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuwade were completed, many have been wondering who will succeed him.
A Nigerian pastor named Paul, who is from Imo State, is also weighing in on the debate, and has prophesied that media mogul, Dele Momodu, will be the new Ooni of Ife, PM News reports.
In an interview with the publication’s CEO, Bayo Onanuga, Paul made the declaration, further stating, “If the Ife people refuse to crown Momodu, there will be bloodshed.”
However, Onanuga discredited Paul’s prediction, stating “Although Dele Momodu was born in Ife, his connection is as near as Gbongan and as far as somewhere in Edo State.”
According to the report, “in 1986, Momodu served the late Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuwade Olubuse II, managing the Motel Royal Limited owned by the monarch.”
