The northern elites give their daughters out in marriage when they are mature but they keep silent on child marriages in their communities and one of them married a 13 year old girl. God is watching you all

Amariya, by the look of this venue, you and your family members outfit, this is an expensive wedding. Its obvious that your dad has spent his state fund to bankroll your wedding .I hope EFCC invesitgates this governor. PERIOD!!

My guess is you have no clue who the guy’s dad is. His dad is wealthy Alhaji Dahiru Mangal, owner of max air, oil companies, Owner of private jets.

@ify the fact that the grooms dad runs an oil and max air doesnt makes him a clean wealthy businessman??? Anyone can run an oil business and be an oil subsidy scammer on the downlow.. Its a matter of time, as we will later find out that he too was involve in some illegal acquisition of public fund . The more you look, the less you see. All these looters are friends that get their children to marry within the caucus.

They had 7 UP and Mountain Dew for beverages? No Wine or Malt Liquor? How are they going to TURN UP on that? The family is really pretty and everyone looks dashing in their outfit.

Wow, beautiful. They are so happy.Family inclusive.
I just find it ironic, the same religion/people of belief who supports child marriage, will allow their daughters grow, be mentally and emotionally prepared for marriage, yet they will abduct a child from the south, forcefully convert her, keep her in Emir palace, refuse to release her, because of their Sharia law.
Its interesting to know the religion thing is based on Social and financial status in the society

Sometimes it baffles me how some people tend to overgeneralize on this platform. Just as not all Southerners are kidnappers, pipeline vandals and abgeros, so also, not all Northerners are pedophiles. Do your homework, conduct a full research on the religion/culture of the North before you come to a conclusion. Most at times you just see things from your own narrow and uninformed perspective and decide to castigate everyone based on the actions of a few. I bet you @NkiruOphelia most probably hasn’t been to the North or lived with a Northerner for that matter. Ofcourse I’m in no way propagating child marriage or any thing but all I’m saying is, one person’s conception and belief about an issue doesn’t represent that of everyone. And NO, the “religion thing” is not based on social and financial status in the society. It all boils down to your correct understanding of the religion and how you choose to implement that understanding into your actions. Just as there are practicing Christians and the not so practicing ones, so also are the Muslims. When you don’t have an in-depth understanding and comprehension of the workings of a system (be it religious or otherwise), you tend to stray into your own delusioned narrow way of doing things. And mind you I use the word religion here instead of culture because most Northerners are Muslims and the Islamic doctrine mostly guides our actions and laws. So please Bellanigerians, when next you read a post about someone somewhere in/from the North doing something absurd, judge him/her based on what he/she alone did, do not automatically assume all Northerners drummed out support for him/her. Try to be a little bit more rational and less sentimental about issues that by the way, are plaguing all of us as Nigerians. And @BellaNaija, post my comment.

Thanks fatima for the thoughtful and well analysed comment but the problem is u can only talk no one is ready to listen. It’s not only here it’s everywhere. Bellanaijah is even subtle in its own approach other blogs aren’t. They just post any comments from any ignorant mind and u see so many likes or supporters. I would have thought bloggers aren’t supposed to create more disparity rather used there blog to enlighten minds but clearly that’s not the case, sometimes I wonder if it’s the haters that actually pay some of these bloggers to keep spreading hatred. I respect BN, sdk but for the other popular one. Hmmmmmm. Her aim is clear. Pls post my comment
