Onwuchekwa by Chikezie Daniel Presents ‘Triumphant’ Spring/Summer 2016 Collection

Russian-born American novelist – Ayn Rand’s  famous quote “The question isn’t who is going to let me; it is who is going to stop me” is the last line that ambitiously ends Onwuchekwa by Chikezie Daniel’s press note that tried to explain the varying meaning and contexts of ‘triumph’ versus what it truly mean.

All that aside, Onwuchekwa by Chikezie Daniel’s collection didn’t completely come to us as a shock considering the presence of some of the brand’s signature staples – zippers, faux leather, mix and match and embellishments – but what makes this much more interesting is the floral applique that softens the edginess of the collection, geometry  and the panel that seats on the hemlines in some cases.
