Adele is fanning out over Beyonce‘s new album “Lemonade”. The British singer who has been touring herself, shared a photo of herself kneeling close to a photo of Beyonce and she captioned:
I’m not late on this I’ve just been speechless. Beyonce is the most inspiring person I’ve ever had the pleasure of worshipping. Her talent, beauty, grace and work ethic are all in a league of their own. I appreciate you so much! Thank god for Beyoncé X
…all we can say is that real talent recognizes real talent!
You guys extra overrate this beyonce girl I swear. I’m beginning to think there’s a spiritual realm to it where she’s the priestess and you have to publicly praise her in the physical before you can be successful and accepted cos there’s no way all these people feel this way about her, especially since her music is basic at best. It’s like they have to take turns to worship her and you never hear her acknowledge them or even return the favor. It seems so contrived. Abi all these people worshipping her without a response don’t have self esteem?
Beyonce is talented no doubt. Even ppl wu dnt like her recognise or cant deny this fact.
However all these talk about “worship” scares me oh! I for one do not really “believe” this illuminati gist, as d ppl accused, are not just talented but also work extremely hard. Harder than most of us. Then u sit and start accusing them of juju power!
However d adjective used by adele here makes me worried…cud there b somtin more than hard work talent to it? And to tink adele is not just one upcoming artist, but a legend in her own right, whose songs i even preffer 2 beyonce makes it all d more scary!
please, plese tell me you’re not African with this talk of “they work harder than most of us”, you mean to tel me that these people who have it easier than most Africans no matter how bad their situation is work harder than our parents who struggle like hell to make ends meet? pls tell me you’re not Nigerian saying this thing with the way we have been suffering in this country. so beyonce and all these stars are more hardworking than my neighbours mother who sent him to school by selling ice fish while suffering physical abuse at the hands of her husband, or that they work harder than my mother who worked in construction sites so much that her back is messed up now just so we can eat? do you know I saw a pic of a one legged african mama with one clutch and carrying load on her head with her free hand just struggling? people shout beyonce dem are empowering and all that nonsense but that picture and looking at our tough, mentally, emotionally, and physically strong african mothers and fathers are the most empowering things i’ve seen in my life and not beyonce singing of giving her husband head in a car or patting her vagina while she dances. Lord, the way some of you Nigerians/Africans misbehave just to hype up beyonce and other celebs is really scarey. im so ashamed my God, Nigerians.
@odi, GOD bless you for speaking out. And, read what the Nigerian artist who did the body paint for her song video “”Sorry”” said below, and then also look at the post on Twitter comparing the painting/picture of oshun and the scene in Beyonce’s video side by side::
LS: “”So I was asked to do my Sacred Art of the Ori for the dancers, and what that essentially means is Sacred Art of the Essence. Your Ori is your essence, your soul, your destiny. When I work with a muse, the muse, their Ori and I become one. The dancers were my canvas, my muses. I would watch and listen to their dance, body movements, energy smiles and strength and try to bring out what they were capturing with the movements in my paint.
The paint is a white ink with very spiritual meaning in Yoruba culture. It’s something we often use as a dedication to worship of orishas, the gods in Yoruba religion.”””

Q: “”Many people have likened Beyoncé to Oshun, the Yoruba orisha of womanhood. As someone with Yoruba heritage, how do you think she embodies Oshun?””
LS: “”Oshun is supposed to be very beautiful, and I mean just in the sense of beauty alone you can already see that in Beyoncé. She is also very in touch with herself and very much about spirituality, giving, sensuality and power — all characteristics of Oshun.
And there are very different sides of Oshun, like her anger, which you Beyoncé channel in parts of the video like the part when she bursts open the door in her yellow dress and floodwaters come out.””

I concur. Bey is talented in her own right and pretty but the way folks are idolizing her it’s quite disturbing. Even Michael Jackson(the greatest entertainer) don’t get all that worship which I believe nobody should get any worship except CHRIST. But people are ready to sacrifice themselves for Bey. And her music isn’t even all that great, she does more gimmicks. Her music doesn’t inspire, her love songs are mediocre, even her whole formation of being pro black is mediocre. At this point, I believe people just like her for no reason. She can be shitting on people’s faces and they will say her poop smell like perfume.
Her songs are not all time legend things. Anyway, I’m starting to believe this illuminati crap.
@Damilola then u never really followed MJ’s story ..people died, fainted, cried just name it just see micheal perform on stage..i dont think bey gets that.
One more thing, i dont think its worship in its literal sense its just metaphorical…
I respect the works of both artistes. Adele and Beyonce are clearly in a league of their own.
Enough respect, they know their onions.
However I have a problem with people using words like “worship ” for mortals like ourselves.
Then that last line is just wrong.
Thank “god” for “Beyoncé “.
Might just be a typo to some people but…kai! Na wa!
Not everyone believes in your “God” and clearly not everyone believes the word worshipping should be left for God alone. I wonder how it ia your “PROBLEM” when you’re not “God”. Drinking panadol on his headache eh (if he exists)?
Destiny it is our problem. Worshipping should be given to only God alone and not a human being
What is wrong with this one?
Ok Adele, calm down & God bless y’ both for your hand work.
Beyoncé is so damn talented with admirable work ethic. Adele never said it better!
Abegi She’s overrated!!! #My2Kobo
Beyonce is so talented and i admire her for her success and musical abilities but all this talk about “worshiping” is just ridiculous. This better be a hyperbole or something.
All na packaging, marketing
everyone is entitle to their own opinion. one man’s delight is another one’s oporoko.
Truth be told, Beyoncé is highly talented and she just doesn’t do what you’ll hear everywhere or anyone does. She’s in a class of her own. If Adele is appreciating her, she knows why and that should become Nigeria budget that we’ll spend all our time on.
People can have varying opinions about how “good” her music is, in and of itself, but it troubles me when you label her overrated just because a large number of people find her appealing. At the very least, give the woman credit for her talent, work ethic, and tenacity. She’s been perfecting her craft since something like 7 years of age. No other (or maybe very few other) current living musicians put in the amount of sheer effort and painstaking attention to detail to the full 360 degrees of different elements of music, entertainment, and performance that she does. I wouldn’t go as far as using the word “worship” for her, but it rubs me the wrong way when women, black women especially, don’t want to acknowledge what she has done in terms of elevating the worldwide image of black women. I’m not equating her to Harriet Tubman or Michelle Obama in terms of “uplifting” the black female community, but it says a lot when, for example, a black woman goes to Italy and whereas before they were being called “monkey, monkey!”, now they’re being called “Beyonce, Beyonce!”
I can’t be wrong, this is so highly satanic. To worship a mortal and to use the lower case to address our God. I know I am not wrong, this is demonic!
Beyonce is a musical power to be reckoned with! Basic people can never understand that cos they can’t get over their basic thinking to appreciate real super talent! Shior!
No wonder you’re talking jazz…and you should know, you’re aptly named jazz
3 gbosa for you Prince… Beyonce has spent years, horning and perfecting her craft and has done a good job at it. I wont run and buy her albums or spend sleepless night watching every performances, but i would listen to her songs as some have deeper meaning to me and some situations i fine myself. She is not your average performer! And deserves all the accolades she has gotten. As for the use of small letter ‘g’ things like god-daughter/son or Thankgod (the name) must be demonic as well!!! Hian…
That’s the result of hard work and talent. Kudos bey…
At this point, Beyonce is no longer a human, she’s a brand. I just don’t understand how she can be so strategic. She sells on controversy, but the way it is done is so genius. I am inclined to believe the illuminati gist in her case.
Bow down. BEY IS THE QUEEN
Bey is a very good artiste and have come a long way into becoming a brand. No doubt. When we look critically at the history of American entertainers especially musicians, you will discover that the music industry itself alone is been controlled by a force greater than the musician itself and it is no where near godly. Every great american entertainers have had their humble beginnings, powerful public exposures, criticisms, downfalls and dirty endings. From Marvin Gaye to James Brown to Michael Jackson to Tupac to Biggie. You just name it. Its her time. No doubt. But people should be careful when choosing words for honouring their so called idols. Recalled their Rihanna once openly called Bey her idol. Thats something not really cool. The reason i could deduce from what Adele did was pay her part of the homage to this goddess. As for the ILLUMINATI GROUP; lets no play the fool, they sure exist and their major tool is the American music industry. At every point there is always a goddess and a god. The last music god was Prince and the one before Prince was MJ. What later became of them? Before Bey was Whitney and how did she end and what later became of her daughter? Adele made no mistake in what she said. She only paid her homage to this present music goddess. That for me goes beyond what the ordinary eyes can see.
