Beauty Queen Tomi Salami & Other International Queens Set to Stage an Education Intervention for 5,000 Kids in Nigeria

Tomi Salami is an beauty queen turned CEO of Aurora International (Beauty, Events & Lifestyle brand), Presenter & Humanitarian. Over the years, she has volunteered for various charities in Nigeria, USA & other countries and in 2013, she took her passion for helping the less privileged a notch higher by establishing her foundation – Aurora International Charity Foundation which has quietly been impacting thousands of lives across Nigeria.

Now, preparations are in full gear as Kits For Kids Africa – the headline project of the Aurora International Charity Foundation – is set to stage a MASSIVE Education Intervention come 23rd – 26th MAY; providing Brand New School Bags, Sandals, Stockings, Exercise Books, Stationery, Toothbrushes, Lunch bowls & Water bottles for thousands of needy with special support appearances from International Queens like Miss Canada, Miss India, Miss USA, Miss South Africa, Miss Botswana, Miss Puerto Rico amongst other Nigerian celebrities like Denrele Edun, Beverly Osu, Adekunle Gold, and more.

Speaking on the initiative, Tomi said:

“I’m a very private person and I’ve always done my work silently (laughs) but this time, we are coming out to the public because we need the world to know about this great work and support us to make a difference. I’m of the opinion that you don’t have to be President Buhari, Alhaji Aliko Dangote or Madam Folorunsho Alakija before you can reach out & make a CHANGE. If we can start from what we have now, sooner than we think, the world will be a better place! A lot of sleepless nights and hardwork have gone into this initiative and come May, brand new School Bags, Sandals, Stockings, Exercise Books, Stationery, Lunch bowls, Tooth brushes, Water bottles & more will be provided for needy kids in public schools. We have celebrities joining us in this as GoodWill & Tourism Ambassadors so it’s going to be absolutely amazing…the experience of a lifetime for the children.”
