Battabox’s Adeola interviewed ladies on the streets of Lagos to find out, What would you do if you were a Side Chick? And how do you move from being a Side Chick to a Main Chick?

Here’s the Battabox introduction –

Relationships today are not what it used to be. People find it hard to commit to one person and even though Nigerians have concluded that “Even your boo has a boo”, no woman likes to be the other girl or side chick.

“Being a side chick is not easy o,” one lady laments.

“Go to his house, cook for him, do dishes, don’t ask for money etc.,” one replied.

How about they ask themselves first if a man that has you as his side chick is even worth fighting for in the first place! To each their own

These responses are just too sad. To think these girls are still pretty young….the length they’d go to become the “mainchic” how about not even wanting to be a “side chic”? Wouldn’t that be a better option?

Huh?!, what about not wanting to be the side chick in the first place? will it satisfy you poisoning or killing your fellow woman for a man who can still get another side chic apart from you?

Jesu!!! No reference to the man who decided to confer you with side chic and main chic titles… No o, you won’t kill that one. What you want to do is kill, fight, poison and do juju for your fellow woman, because that’s the only man in the world! And you want Nigerian men to change this silly attitude abi? Issorai… Kontinu

This isn’t shocking. After all there are people on this very blog that come here giving shout outs to their fellow side chicks and talking about how women don’t know how side chicks suffer and that they have rights too. Issorait. Just don’t start calling Jesus when he does it again with someone else five years from now.

…………..and this my friends, is why the baby mama syndrome in Nigeria wont end anytime soon. See girls saying they will offer more sex [out of wedlock] if that’s what it takes to keep a man. Hian!

Pathetic does not even begin to describe this nonsense I just watched!!! Have a bit of self value for yourselves! Haba! What level of desperation is this?! Kill, poison, who and for what?! Right now I don’t know who is more stupid, the man that reduces you to a side chick or you trying to kill another lady because you CHOSE to be in that situation.

I”m not surprise by the responses of this women. Most Nigerian women have been taught to devalue themselves for men, and become husband snatchers by fire by force since 1900.. Nasty women with no morals!

And it keeps going from generation to generations of husband snatchers. Nigerian Women, why have you lost your self value?

Erm.. How about walking away from the relationship? ??. A man that cheats is not worth the effort AT ALL! Women need to stop making men feel it’s ok to cheat!

I don’t know if many Nigerian women are just shallow and don’t know their self worth or if they are just acting out for the camera. So sad that many girls are comfortable with the idea of being a side chic!
