Plead with Militants in the name of God Almighty to take it Easy – Pres. Buhari tells APC Leaders & Nigerians

Buhari Hosts APC Leaders to Dinner3President Muhammadu Buhari has called on those “who have friends among the leadership or even the (Niger Delta) militants,” to talk to them to embrace peace instead of destroying oil facilities in the country, saying that we have no other country than Nigeria.

He said this when he hosted Party Leaders of the All Progressive Congress (APC) to a breaking of Ramadan Fast dinner.

“I honestly don’t know how many factions the militants are in the Niger Delta compared to the North East where you have the Boko Haram

The technology being deployed by the militants to destroy oil installations is high-tech, the way they can go on high sea and international waters and target oil installations is a national problem. It is affecting development.

No insurance company will want to insure installations that will end up being blown up and no banks will want to finance such installations.

Those of you who have friends among the leadership or even the militants themselves should plead with them in the name of God ‎Almighty to take it easy.

We are in a very difficult time, so we have to organise ourselves. Anybody that says he has any other country than Nigeria should go out and see,” he said.

I will take this as a joke. If elected Nigerian leaders keep bringing God into everything then what’s their purpose and point of been elected? They are utterly useless.
The same God has given you brain, maybe pray for more wisdom and direction. But this whole niger delta situation is complicated. This group is destructive and bloodthirsty. They are ready to fight. I support, the government to take action against them. A small violent group can’t just rise up and threaten the government whether you feel entitled to the resource or not. It’s yours regional but it’s also clear it’s the country as a whole. You want to fight with fire, and expect the government who has bigger power than you to fold their arms and watch. They will fight with hotter fire.’

Buhari, never once showed solidarity when Boko haram attacks but will offer solidarity to other countries. For once, he’s never addressed his people(Fulani herdsmen) who are viciously killing others. He’s never given a proper interview, where he addressed his country on a personal relationship but constantly in a distant relationship. Northerners see themselves as northerners NOT Nigeria. And it’s unfortunate they continue to be in power. But it also shows, Nigerians as a whole will prefer them in power because the hatred a Yoruba president will receive is worst than it all. The hatred an Igbo man will receive is also up there. A minority ruling is also problematic. So, I guess northerners are the neutral best where he can easily get away with so much.
However, suggesting division is also not the solution. And if anybody thinks there won’t be any bloodshed in Africa must not be using their brain properly. And comparing it to EU, it’s no brainer the countries within the EU are developed and are capable to govern themselves, can easily be independent and succeed. They are not bound by 300 tribes and languages. They have proven they can develop individually and collectively.

Africa’s problem is not division. It’s an individual leadership qualities. The level of selfishness, wickedness, evil, greed, pride, hatred, lack of common sense is not limited to leaders but to individual Nigerian. Whether Nigerians divide or not, it won’t make any difference the same problem of not able to show they are capable and lead themselves to greater height will persist.

This just laughable. How can a national leader ask other people to plead on his behalf. He should be the driver of the conciliation and show practical commitment. However, this is the same man that neither offered any solution or a helping hand during the last administration. He consciously didn’t attend the weekly council meeting, In otherwise he put his desires far more above the advancement of the country. Today, he is the President and pleading on people to help him, which he never did.

This man is either senile or just dull. You are pleading but you are still carrying out one of the issues that made them go back to the creeks.
Nigeria belongs to all but your previous appointments and most recent one just proves that it belongs to the North. Buhari; is it that you don’t have conscience or you are just filled with hatred with a particular section of the country.
You are suppose to be a father to all Nugerians; which you haven’t done. Have you for once addressed the Fulani herdsmen issue?
You are not fit to be a leader in this time and age; the world and global development of economy and other issues is way behind your comprehension.
I wait again come 2019: I will definitely satisfy my conscience by voting against you even if my vote doesn’t count.

Buhari it is very evident that you are sinister and divisive. I did not believe it but indeed now your words betray you.
Where are the chibok girls? Who are the fulani herdsmen? The police force under the federal government brutalizing people what do you have to say? Your intolerant, reprehensible jihadist brothers killing innocent people have you addressed them? Yet you want to turn the polity against the Niger delta. You are a terrible leader. An old man with nothing to offer this country.

Brexit was civil and transparent devoid of bloodshed after 43years being with European. Is it not possible to call for a referendum for division of Nigeria along 6 geopolitical zones in this country. The economicoreligiopolitical crisis (if there is any stuff like that) seems to deflect d law of gravity.

Buhari say this?,nigeria is not one and can never be one at all,we neither speak the same language nor have the same culture,we didn’t have the same dressing or the same religious believe, one day a was speaking with some hausa people and they told me that any of their child or children that goes to church is not their fruit because if did not stop going to church the will kill him or her if she is a girl,so let divide Nigeria and let everybody have peace,if Nigeria have been divided nobody will be hearing about bokoharam or militants,so Mr president lets divide or is it because of our oil or other resources donnot worry God will give you your own after the division of nigeria, thanks Mr asking president?,bye

ocy dun ..not every body from north is “hausa” or muslim…research more dear…..my problem with all this lets divide is that a lot of people who have never tasted war have no idea about the implications of secession in the Nigerian context..it will NOT be like Brexit we are not British..i see a lot of bloodshed and chaos because after the spilt you also have to contend with which tribe will lord it over which tribe within the new dispensation..Go and ask Southern Sudan what is going on there now…having said that Buhari should negotiate with Avengers and others

@ good girl. .. who said there has to be a war for Nigeria or any country to divide? ??
Am not advocating for division but just know that WAR must not determine division.
It was not Biafra, who waged war on Nigeria.
If Nigeria had let them go quietly, according to the Aburi, Ghana accord, there could have been no war.
