Erdogan asking people to take to the streets to support him is a blatant joke, that man is a dictator under democracy but nonetheless millitary coup is bad news for any country, worse off in present times…

The coup plotters are likely Kemalists, so when they’re gassing Kurds remember your support.

Erdorgan is loved by his largely loved ans supported by his people. He had a landslide victory during the election and people proved their love by coming out in large numbers. He might be authoritative but hes not a buttlicker and his polices are what’s keeping Turkey together

What’s the catch? Turkey remains the most beautiful place I have ever been to. Culturally mind boggling and just beautiful. Seems they are keen on throwing away that rich history.

No matter how intolerable Erdogan seems, a military coup is not the smartest thing to do in this day and age. Opinions about him deviating from Ataturk’s secular ideologies make the whole premise in support of a coup very confusing. “Military Coup” and “Secularism” are clearly mutually exclusive. Anyone who uses these 2 words in the same sentence is an opportunist.

Traditionally, the Turkish military have always intervened to remove leaders who stray away from secularism. They don’t answer to the President

There is a certain irony in Nigerians supporting a military coup.

Think it through people, if Turkey falls into chaos and it will (Islamists are tired of being beaten down in the name of secularism) + the Kurds are likely to take advantage which will be unwelcome to the military. You think it’ll just affect Turkey??? or just the Middle-East???? you think a country with one of the largest Muslim populations in the world will just sit out. Come on!! Last thing we need is more instability in the Muslim world.

Yeah we could roll time all the way back to when Hitler killed over 6 million Jews or maybe back to World War one or back to the slave trade when uncountable black people were used and killed or maybe back to the Crusades… You see my point? Us humans have never not been violent. We only live in the age of mass media so there is a more open flow of information. Things are not getting worse dear. We are just becoming more aware of the truth.
