Nigeria’s Greatness is in her Unity – WATCH Goodluck Jonathan address Journalists after his Meeting with Pres. Buhari



Nigeria’s former president, Goodluck Jonathan was on Wednesday at the State House to meet with President Muhammadu Buhari.

Speaking to State House correspondents after the meeting, Jonathan emphasized that what Nigeria needs is unity, adding that the country “is great, not because of oil, but because of size, human resources, and diversities”.

“If we balkanise the country into small components we would be forgotten by the world,” the former president added.

He said that he, as well as Ijaw leaders, traditional rulers, and opinion leaders in the Niger Delta region to ensure that peace reigns in the country. He added that he what we need is a united Nigeria.

Jonathan who said he has always been visiting the State House (at night), disclosed that he came to brief President Buhari about some of his external engagements.

    They’ve been accusing this man of corruption for so long that I am surprised everytime he goes to Aso Rock and comes out a free man…lol…..Arrest am na…..truly a shame how this country was tricked into hating this man. All that money was allegedly being stolen and the country did not enter recession, we were thriving and were one of the fastest growing economies in the world. Now all the money is being “saved” and we are in recession, the economy is down the drain….the irony! Jonathan did not do all that he was supposed to do but he did the best he could in our greatly flawed system.
