Michael Phelps and His Fiance Nicole Johnson Secretly got Married before the Rio 2016 Olympics

Olympic swimming champion Michael Phelps and his longtime partner Nicole Johnson have announced that they secretly got married on June 13th, 2016.
The couple have been engaged since February 2015 and welcomed their son, Boomer, in May 2016.
He said via a Facebook Live Video:
“I’ve been married for a while. A couple months. I had to keep it a secret from y’all. I had to keep it hush-hush from you guys, But Nicole and I are married, we are officially married and now we are getting the chance to kind of kick it and hang out now.”
When asked why he kept the marriage a secret, Phelps said, “Just because” and also hinted that his 5-month old son Boomer may be getting a younger sibling,“Thank you for the beautiful comment. Baby number two may be coming soon. Who knows, though?”.
According to a copy of their record of marriage obtained by PEOPLE, the couple tied the knot in a private ceremony on June 13th in Paradise Valley, Arizona and the ceremony was officiated by agent and close friend Peter Carlisle.
