To round off an eventful year, the final styled wedding shoot for 2016 by UK vendors led by Afmena Events was at No.4 Hamilton Place in Mayfair, London, and is the perfect inspiration board for an intending couple.

In the words of Coco Chanel, ‘Simplicity is the keynote of all true elegance’.

This was reflected in all the elements curated for this shoot, from the deep v-necked bridal gown by Federica Bruno featuring delicate rose details for the daring bride, to the simple hair bun design by the talented Charis Hair.

Afmena Events wanted to explore all the current wedding trends with this styled shoot from Paper Flowers by Junia Creations to candy buffet treats by Kandy by Kerry, and let’s not forget the ‘Soul Mates’ wedding cake by QCakes! All perfectly captured by the fun-loving Obi Nwokedi. Modern ideas perfect for the contemporary bride.

While classic, the split wedding cake is a nouveau trend you can incorporate for that touch of innovation, and Wow factor. The ‘bride’ is gorgeous in a sleek silk dress, with rosette details and jaw-dropping open back.

This shoot shows that just because the palette is pretty, it doesn’t mean you have to play it safe.
