Extremely overrated actor. I can’t even remember one memorable movie of his .

You’d think they invented AMCVA for him. Every year OC

But then again Nigeria what thr fk else do Nigeria got but a bunch of mediocre actors saturated the market.

Quantity movies is all you know learn from Kenya or South Africa and maybe one day a Nollywood actor might win an Oscar. The rewarding of mediocres and recycling of just one person like OC is enough.

You can’t even critique Nollywood cos they get defensive. In their fickle mind they are world class. And when they get to international film festivals like Toronto and the oyinbos as Toronto film festivals tell u the truth u get mad, cos your mediocre ass in Nigeria has been kissed so much, you think all your movies are great. It’s great in Nigeria

I am still amazed a nation with this much population and still after decades in the industry our nation can’t churn out great new talents. Just mediocre after mediocre and their assessment get kissed so much on social media and blog praises, they get pompous thinking they are Oscar performers

With these new era actors I am not impressed by anyone YET. Yes I’d say Blossom and OC but Cmon they are good not great that you will reward OC every damn year.

I don’t blame them, thr actors, I blame the weak directors in Nollywood who can never challenge these actors to help them progress. Continuously staying stagnant yet will get rewarded.

The only new era actress I deem very good borderline great, is Ivie. That’s it. In my opinion. Now that she’s back after having a baby I hope to see more if her and most importantly directors that will challenge her so she does not become stagnant like Omotola and Genevieve whom Nollywood directors don’t feel need to challenge them. Teflons you dare not challenge or critique.

Nollywood directors learn how to challenge our best from movie to movie. You are too weak.
