A couple of  weeks ago South African media personality and host of “The Daily Show” Trevor Noah was interviewed alongside renowned Nigerian author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie at the 13th annual PEN American World Voices Festival by One World Publisher and Editor-in-Chief Chris Jackson.

The two of them shared their views on US President Donald Trump, American ideals and how growing up in Africa shaped their world views.

Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and Trevor Noah where both at the festival to talk about their new books, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s Dear Ijeawele, or A Feminist Manifesto in Fifteen Suggestions and Trevor Noah’s debut, Born A Crime.

While the event held in the early days of May, it is quite a refreshing chat between the two that we had to share.

Watch their chat below.
