Kechi Okwuchi has been trending on social media for several days now and it’s all for the right reasons.

Prior to her AGT auditions, Kechi gave an inspiring talk at TEDx Talks in December 2016 and recently we stumbled on it again and thought to share. Kechi got a standing ovation even before she had said a single word.

Her life story – plane crash survivor, graduating magna cum laude from college- is inspiration enough. Kechi’s talk birthed many tweetable moments: “Know yourself and know your vision.” “Your scars do not define you.” “It’s your passions that give rise to the vision you have for your life.” And so much more. Words to live by from a young lady whose strength is simply phenomenal.

Despite many setbacks and over 100 surgeries, Kechi remains one of the most inspirational people you’d ever meet.
