New Music: Pryse – Na Still Woman (The Story of OJ Cover)
On Episode 9.5 of her “Pryseless Freestyle Series“, rapper Pryse drops a cover of JAY-Z‘s “The Story of O.J“. She titles this one “Na Still Woman” and writes:
I love men as much as the next girl. I just think women should be given the choice and opportunity to be all they can be. We are powerful beyond measure, but society has made us almost afraid to shine too much. I want to let you know that it’s okay to be a woman and still be your amazing, strong and beautiful self. I don’t want to be a man. But I don’t want to be victimised or held back for being a woman either. My message is this: Be a housewife, or a doctor, a mechanic or a rapper, or whatever you want but make sure it’s YOUR choice. Strive to reach your potential as a human being. Empower the girl-child because she will birth and raise our future leaders. So I humbly present to you all, my version of Jay Z’s song, “The Story of OJ
