But really, she is right. We spend so much time dilly-dallying around the issue, instead of just doing what you know should be done. You fight, argue, throw tantrums, report each other to friends/family, get advice from people whose marriages you don’t consider goals, then you get back together for some weeks or months, then you repeat the cycle all over again.

If it’s not working, then it isn’t. Cut out all the drama and go out to live your best life. You only have one life to live, live them!

I’m not sure if the vlogger is talking within the context of marriage, or relationships generally.
As much as I respect her opinions and experiences, I don’t think the post provides the complete picture of what response people can take in situations like these.

The Bible says “a woman should abide with her husband”; this means that when we go into marriage, or relationships, it should be with an abiding spirit (both for men and women). If we all adopt the “leave if it’s not doing it for you” attitude, I doubt the marriage institution or even the idea of love and fidelity would have existed for centuries.

I do agree with the vlogger that some relationships are to be “flushed away from our lives; but believe it or not, there and some men (and women) out there, who have genuine issues with being faithful and committed in relationships. Such people may deserve our patient endurance, encouragement, hope and prayers to overcome whatever challenges they are facing. I guess it’s God who gives us the wisdom to know the difference. And whether to give them some space while they sort themselves out.

I also agree about snooping and stalking partners….it’s just not worth it. All in all, self respect, dignity, the fear of the Lord…and love; yes, love will always prevail in bringing us to God’s best.

    Nice vlog!
