Arnold Schwarzenegger “stable” after Emergency Open-Heart Surgery
Veteran actor and former governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger has undergone an emergency open-heart surgery, TMZ is reporting.
According to the news site, the former professional bodybuilder went to Cedars-Sinai hospital in LA on Thursday for a catheter valve replacement. It said that after the surgery, which is “somewhat experimental,” he developed complications.
Doctors reportedly decided an emergency open-heart operation was needed and Schwarzenegger, 70, was in theatre for several hours.
Reports say Schwarzenegger is in stable condition.
