If you are struggling with mental illness, porn, masturbation, bipolar or homosexuality and you want your freedom back, yes you can, you dont have to suffer anymore jesus paid for your freedom so come get it by accepting him as your saviour, confess you are a sinner and ask him to wash you with his blood and rule over yuor soul body and spirit in the name of jesus and immediately you are saved. The word of God now is your weaponry and anchor. Read Romans8:1,2corinthians 5:17 day and night, read it, think and imagine yourself in those words, as you eat, browse or you wake in the morning say it aloud to yourself it works powerfully. Lile pastor chris oyakhilome from the bible( in the city of Ephesus so mightly grew the word of God and prevail) for the power in the word to work in your mind, spirit and body yoy need to keep build and chewing the word just like you have to keep taking your drugs until you are totaly made whole. Also its paramount you attend church, sunday school as you fellowship with other Christians you build a wall and grow spiritually especially as a newbie. You are beautiful.

But Didi has not said she killed herself because she doesn’t know Christ.
Sometimes we know Christ but refuse to use all the resources he has made available for us to live a fulfilling life everyday.
I know that I have neglected to use my resources and I get more discouraged with life day by day
Didi’s comment just reminded me that Jesus is available, his word is available and his blood is available

Some of you keep throwing the word “judge” without understanding its meaning..nor understanding the contex in which the Bible speaks of not judging. JUDGING IS NOT A SIN. JUDGING AS A HYPOCRITE IS A SIN. JUDGING WHAT ISNT BAD IS A SIN. CONDEMNING SOMEONE ( saying there is no hope for them) is a sin.

The Bible says a spiritual man judges EVERYTHING ( how else will we decipher right and wrong?)

Please we must read the Bible in full chapters and not verses and compare scripture with the gospels, epistles. and acts .if not we run the risk of not gaining UNDERSTANDING though we read ( i had to learn this too).

I do not know how its possible to be offended by what DIDI wrote. Please be careful ( especially as you appear yourself to be in the faith)…. be careful to not be challenging the very work God is trying to do through His other children.

As long as what someone is commenting is not contrary to the Word of GOD…dont try to draw attention away from it.

Many are in bondage due to lack of knowledge. We are out here trying to snatch the minds of our brothers and sisters back to GOD…i suggest you do the same.

Sometimes really I wish suicide is not a sin especially when life becomes too overwhelming. I envy those who have the courage to end it all and move into the unknown. After all we are not even sure of what happens when we leave here

I dont want the only reason you don’t consider suicide to be because you fear its a sin and fear the possibility of hell after. I want you to wake up everyday and know that the very fact youre breathing is NOT A MISTAKE.

I want you to know that JESUS Himself who is HOLY and SINLESS still requested in the garden of gethsemane that if possible the cup should pass over Him..the Bible described Him as SWEATING BLOOD. He was in human form and he felt all the things we also feel…but He did something we sometimes forget to do..HE SURRENDERED TO THE FATHER.

God said He is close to the brokenhearted, He said His strength is made PERFECT IN YOUR WIEAKNESS. He said you should LAY YOUR BURDENS AT HIS FEET. He said He will NEVER LEAVE YOU. He said many will be your SUFFERING but that you should TAKE HEART because HE HAS OVERCOME THE WORLD ALREADY.

What i love so much about God is that He never lied to us. He told us there will be suffering in this life but that we have HIM and that He will give us a PEACE THAT SURPASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING…that is peace for the storm. JOY that is not based on earthly circumstances.

He said we should be of GOOD CHEER. So sister i say all this to REMIND you…to ENCOURAGE YOU…..HOLD ON TO GOD. HE WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU. READ YOUR BIBLE ….and speak His words to encourage your spirit.

The moment you believed and accepted that JESUS was your Lord and Saviour…He sent His Holy Spirit to live inside of you…..He described the Holy SPirit as YOUR COMFORTER, YOUR STRENGTHENER AND YOUR GUIDE.

God has always known your NEEDS and He continues to know them. TRUST HIM. SURRENDER YOURSELF INTO HIS CARE.

We love you sister and we will be here praying for you.

I had a scathing response ready for your insensitivity but I remembered the adage, “If you have nothing nice to say, then say nothing.”

As if the depressed individuals going to church religiously and mouthing the words to praise music 24/7 are also not slowly going mental. Except theirs is in silence and with the fear of speaking out and being decried as not being spiritual enough to overcome their darkness.

We need to drop all these stereotypes in our perception of other lifestyles, darkness can attack any and everyone…. and f.y.i, there is also a genre of Christian music which is influenced by heavy metal. I used to listen to Kutless, Stryper, Skillet and P.O.D and they’re some awesome gospel artistes themselves. Just a little bit more tatted and louder than Sinach
