I regret to announce that the Federal Executive Council has taken the tough decision to suspend the National Carrier Project in the interim. All commitments due will be honoured. We thank the public for the support as always.????????????

Nigeria Air was to be private sector-led, with the Federal Government to own not more than 5%.

I have always known that this government was never serious about this National Carrier. It is not only a white Elephant project but also a ploy to siphon money! There were no clear blueprints on how to effectively run it and now that it is no longer forthcoming there is no clear explanation on why it is so.
    Which way Nigeria????

he he he…where is my laughing emoticon? We all saw this coming!!! I mean even the blind saw this coming. I am only surprised they did not let it play out until after the election. They made a dumb mistake by picking a December start date. We all know it is all a campaign/political move that was destined not to happen. This is an airline we are talking about. It is not same lame road or building project you can just dump sand and blocks and pretend to “begin” work until after the election and then dump the whole project. I guess they over shoot their shoot on this one and again their advisers got an F on this one

I just laughed so hard. My happiness is that Nigerians now know them very well. Its only the extremely gullible that can still be deceived.
