BN Living: Learn how to eliminate Bad Odour from your Fridge with ‘The Mint Room’

Entrepreneur Stephanie Ogundoyin on her YouTube channel Mint Room is showing us how to clean better, faster and get incredible results in the least amount of time by sharing a few DIY Videos.

In this video, she’s showing how to get rid of bad odours from your fridge.

She says:

Cut 2 thick slices of lemon and place inside your fridge for a few days (making sure to remove before the lemon goes off.) It will soak up any bad smells and replace them with a fresh, lemony scent! This also works well with orange peel.

Alternatively, dab lemon juice onto the inside of the fridge using a sponge. Keep those smells away for good by storing food correctly – make sure you use airtight containers, clean up any food spills and clean regularly. It will soak up any bad smells and replace them with a fresh, lemony scent!

Why would a mold-free clean fridge need deodorizing tactics?? #Befuddled

      Hello Fleur, good question!
A lot of factors outside of a dirt/mould upsets smell. Our fridges are mostly made of plastic which absorbs odors even after cleaning. Also Some refrigerators have pans that collect condensation produced by the unit while it cools (it isn’t visible to the eye and may be overlooked in your cleaning process). These pans need to be emptied from time to time and cleaned, or else they smell awful and may even overflow. hope i was able to answer your question.
