Following the 2019 Washington, D.C. edition of the Night of Ideas where she was a keynote speaker, Nigerian author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie was interviewed by FRANCE 24’s Sonia Dridi.

Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie shared her thoughts on social media, Donald Trump and feminism.

For its D.C. debut, the Night of Ideas explored the theme “Facing Our Time” through a diverse range of topics, including civil rights, digital privacy, art and advocacy, economics, feminist philosophy, art history, music history, and more. Participants enjoyed thought-provoking insights through short talks punctuated by dynamic music, dance, and spoken word performances.
