Experiencing Sexual Violence at 7, Denike Shares Her Harrowing Experiences on the Debut Episode of The Chat Room
On the debut episode of The Chat Room talkshow with Rokanmi Orunmuyi and Ronke Giwa, Denike Babalola shares her personal experience with sexual abuse.
Denike was raped at 7 by someone in her grandma’s neighborhood, and her story is so many young girls in Nigeria.
According to the producers The Chat Room is ‘an online talk show with the aim of educating and entertaining its audience through meaningful and intelligent conversations about life and topical issues.
We hope that these conversations will create a safe space for victims/survivors of sexual assault to share their stories.
