Update Your Ogbono Soup Recipe, Courtesy of The Kitchen Muse



Bukie of “The Kitchen Muse” is back with a new food tutorial, this time it’s a recipe for Ogbono Soup!


600g Okro Fingers
4 Tbsp Ground Ogbono
1kg Goat Meat
600g Shaki (Tripe)
1 Med Dried Catfish
1/2 Cup Palm Oil
1 Med Onions (Chopped for cooking Meats)
1/2 Cup Uziza Leaves (Sliced)
4 Tbsp Ground Crayfish
4 Stock Cubes
1 Tsp Salt

    I’m sorry but this is more of okro soup! Ogbono soup don’t have okra inside. Most people use Ogbono in Okra soup cause the okra isn’t sticky or drawy enough. Ogbono soup is just what it is – Ogbono & nothing else! This recipe will confuse someone who is learning the culture and our delicacies!

    BN you or your Editors should know better! Looks good anyways
