Nigeria’s Sweetheart Genevieve Nnaji back with a bang!

For months, fans of Nigerian megastar, Genevieve Nnaji have been asking the question. Where is Genny?
The star has kept a low profile over the past 2 years. Last year, she focused on her budding fashion label, St. Genevieve, was on the cover of TW Magazine and also featured in a few select movies. The only major events that she attended last year were the Genevieve Magazine Turquoise Ball and the Encomium Magazine White Gig. Well, its 2009 and it seems like Miss Genny is back! She was at the wedding of designer, Data Okorodudu of JD7 Couture’s daughter. As a friend of the mother of the bride, Genevieve was garbed in a stunning version of the wedding ‘Aso Ebi’. Beautiful!

Well..what is my verdict on dahling Genevieve? She looks good and different and shld take it easy on the weight loss. Just stick to this particular look – and pls don’t go overboard… No matter the harsh criticism on her looks especially weight gain or not. I think she shld maintain this her ideal weight and appearance and pls don’t over do it anylonger. Altho..i still love me my Genny from Keeping Faith and then again maybe she had to deal with the breakouts and all and to me she still looked good, then. Anyway, the ball is in Genevieve’s court…

Overall she looks good. The closeup is not flattering cos i can actually fry an egg on her face. Too oily. Perhaps she shld consider an oil free foundation. Love the necklace.

Naija, especially lagos has a very hot and stuffy climate… no matter how good your deodorant is, you would still sweat… so it’s not the matter of “naija people forever sweating” even if its a person who lives in a cold climate, who comes to naija, he/she would sweat even more no matter the type of deodorant he/she has! Genny looks good and her make up is ok, its the sweat which has made it look kinda funny.
u r absolutely rite. I was at 9ija last xmas and the heat is 2mch. u will put on ur make up and it will look funny in few mins cos the weather is so hot, unless u kno that u dont want to go outside. For my gurl Genny u look stunnin as usual, so dont mind the haters

There might have been couple of things she should have fixed, like the hair or get an oil free foundation, but things happen, and Genny still looks fabulous. We get so used to seeing all these fake looking Hollywood celebs, and we forget what real women look like anymore. If they are not fake, there is photoshop, more advanced beauty products, and someone who is there to fix them every second, so they can look perfect.
