An unbridled celebration of love and commitment, that would be an apt description of the 24th October 2009 wedding of Lamide Lawson and Wale Shonekan. The couple were joined as husband and wife at the Anglican Church of Ascension in Lagos. In the presence of their family and close friends, Lamide and Wale who are longtime loves shared their vows. The bride was stunning in her white crystal embellished fishtail wedding dress with sideswept locks, her dress was perfectly paired with beautiful diamond and pearl accessories. The groom was sleek in his black suit paired with a white tie. The bridal train was stylish in citrine dresses with an embellished black waistbands.
The wedding reception was a very festive affair. With Wale and Lamide dancing and celebrating to kickstart their new life together. Wishing the couple the very best with lots of love, happiness and joy!

The bride is stunningly gorgeous. Her skin is flawless, and her make up artist did a great job. I love their traditional outfit. Don’t get me wrong, you will see beautiful women in all cultures, but there is always something about yoruba women. All the yoruba weddings I attended, and some of the wedding websites, all the yoruba women just always have this elegance, class, simplicity, and natural beauty to them.
