This sounds like it will be a lot of fun..
So why is Seal’s picture on the ad??
Trust Nigerians, always in a rush to copy whatever happens abroad.
This is an outright rip-off of Vogue’s/Anna Wintour’s Fashion’ Night Out project. The official statement is full of fluff. “Restore consumer confidence”? “Put the fun back in Shopping”? Because it ever existed in Lagos?
This is just another Primark Market sale pretending it is Chanel. Short notice too, certainly bound to be a flop. Oh well, those desperate to be papped and spread on BellaNaija will surely attend. *sigh*
First, I like your name. Second, no mind them…they didn’t even try to remix the thing; outright copy-kata. I hope they recognize that we’re gaining int’l acclaim & ppl are more likely to find us out when they’re being imitated…I really hope someone sues the last kobo out of them. Third, with all the C and D-list designers & artistes & announcing on such short notice, when the thing flops, they’ll start making noise about how the Naij consumer is undiscerning & unwilling to spend money on fashion. Fourth, “unprecedented global initiative” kwa? I’m pretty sure it’s been done before & better gan sef…real innovation is more likely to give them better results.
HELLO DUCHESS OF IKOYI. U ARE ABSOLUTELY WRONG BELIEVE ME .
atleast they are doing something, what are you doing, commenting bitterly like a sad housewife
i like.
wish i was in lagos, now gave my ticket to someone else **sobs**
Abegy, lets go and see it before we judge….Look aiit… and I have 2 see 2 believe. Sure it will be good tho
