I am a bit worried about the way bellanaija want to turn out, dark indians can’t appear in a bollywood movie, indian actors advertised a lot about bleach creams so I don’ t see the need to talk about their movies in an african website, the same way I don’t understand the european bride shows futured in bellanaija. Did I have to remind you that african designers don’t have the same exposure in the european press or websites? Naomie Campbell continues to denounce the deeply racist mentality in the fashion world, so please bellenaija, can you stick to promote black or african designers, filmmakers, singers etc… like you used to do. WE BLACKS IN GENERAL AND AFRICANS are the one who made your success. There are o lot of” black” movies which need Bellanaija attentions. Thanks, keep on your good work and sorry for my english but I am an african more fluent in french, GOD BLESS.

WOOOOOOOOOOO AMEN!!!! I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING! but i feared either my comment wouldnt be published because of this website’s heavy bias towards “good” comments and the fear of being stoned to death by bella naija readers, and me, i no get time for any problems!

      • Gongo Aso June 20, 2011 at 9:40 AM

Mira Nair is a fair director in terms of global perspective, and I think the Life House people may have a bias towards her because the co-owner went to Columbia where Nair is based. So they may have met each other or something

      • Naj June 20, 2011 at 3:13 PM

Wow….I can understand you guys thoughts oh but please abeg correct me if i’m wrong but the Events this weekend section is free shey? So all the Black of Afrocentric brands just have to send BN their information and it would be published. There’s only so much BN can do on it’s own. Any way sha, the weekend has passed, please send anything you have sharp sharp oh.

    • Ima June 16, 2011 at 7:05 PM
